THIS NORTHERN WOMEN SHOULD INSPIRE YOU

I came across this Newspaper advert congratulating this awesome women on attaining their Doctorates. They are the wives of the Kano State Governor and Deputy Governor Elect.

Their husbands are also so supporting of the ambitions of their wives, at least we can deduce that fact from the messages the husband posted while congratulating their wives.

Gone are those days when Northern women are not educated, and just married off, this is a new dawn and I am happy with this development. They are such an inspiration for women who still want to further their studies up to the Phd level, you can do it if you set you mind to it.

WHAT DO NIGERIANS WANT?-PART 1

I have been following the Ben Murray Bruce story or should I say his tweets since he declared his stance against corruption and his plans as soon as he resumes as a Senator at the Nigerian Hallowed Chambers..

The senator Elect promised to champion the cause for reduction in salaries of our law makers and since then all hell has been let loose. He has been attacked on social media from all sides. His personal life, public life his business ventures, just name it has been put under serious scrutiny.

WHEN WE PROCRASTINATE

Image result for procrastination images
Procrastination can be very detrimental to one's progress if it is not nipped in the bud early enough.

And I am talking about myself here...is it laziness? Lack of zeal or just the bad habit of procrastination itself? I can't seem to figure it out.One just feels what needs to be done now can be done at some other vague time*sigh*Like the first image says, procastination it is the thief of time. And we all know the cure is simple, just get up and do the needful!

THE TREKKING GALORE

So I just sat back yesterday and wondered after seeing another news about 2 people embarking on a trekking spree again to meet President-Elect Mohammed Buhari in Abuja.

To me the excitement wore off after the first trekker trekked to Abuja. Right now everyone seemed to be following the trend now. It is now a fad. I find it rather amusing that everyone will now dust themselves up and say they want to trek 100s of miles in order to congratulate their hero. I read of a female that joined yesterday, she should be on her way to Abuja now, I wish her Godspeed.

What do you think about some Nigerians always jumping on the bandwagon once anything catches their fancy.
