Happy twentieth birthday to Malala Yousafzai. Girl child and women advocate extraordinaire.
She has been at the forefront of the campaign for the rights of women and girls since a relatively young age. She has dedicated her life to that worthy cause.
By the age of thirteen she came into world prominence when she was shot by extremists in her native Pakistan for fighting for the rights of the girl child.
Malala inspires us and we wish her the very best.
