Iyalode of Gbagura can be said to be one of the matriarchs of the Lagos society,she was a constant figure at events that mattered in the society.Her presence is usually felt mightily by people on account of her beauty and Charisma.
Cheif Mrs Bankole,who also happens to be the stepmother of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives,Dimeji Bankole has been out of the news lately.
News later surfaced that she was battling an ailment,nonetheless she was said to be planning the wedding of one of her daughters,only to die on the day of the said nuptials.She was reportedly in a coma for five days before she left for the great beyond.May her soul rest in peace.
