Our lawmakers are at it again. We all know Nigerian Law makers are the highest paid in the world.
The people are asking if they ran for the senate in order to be clothed by suffering Nigerians. No one cares about the appearance of our senators, so far they are carrying the people along with masses friendly bills and so on. No tax payer wants his money to go down the drain because Senators wants to look flamboyant, which is typical of most Nigerians.
It is high time they cut down their spending, as it is Nigeria is hanging at the precipice. Our crude oil that we rely so much on is not selling as we expect, I hope we do not end up drinking it ourselves!
Some of these so called law makers are just there serving a decorative role. Their impacts has never been felt by their constituency, they have never sponsored any bill, or raised any motion, still large amounts of money is being paid to people like that at the detriment of Nigerians.
We need basic amenities like portable water, functioning and ell equipped hospitals with state of the art facilities, our deplorable roads needs o be fixed, our education needs a total overhaul, we want libraries filled with books, Secondary school laboratories with the functioning tools .
The problems in the country far overshadows some bogus allowances that will have no impact in the life of the average citizen, Thankful for Senators like Dino Melaye and Ben Bruce who have distanced themselves from this mess from the National Assembly, now that change is here, we must all embrace it.
