How appalling is it that in this age and time a woman will blame rape on other women simply because of what she chose to wear?
Such is the case with the controversial Grace Mugabe and her unguarded utterances. She asserts at a function recently in Zimbabwe that any woman who gets raped while putting on mini skirts should be blamed. In her words according to the media, if women allow men drool over them and gets raped in return, it is their fault.
What a myopic way of thinking. We know women who are fully clad still gets raped. It should have dawned on her that men who rape will give any excuse to commit the criminal act, it is not a function or what the woman has on or not. Rapsts a predators. What excuses can be made for men who rape Grandmothers?I guess the AGED women were sexily dressed too.
We do not need women like Grace Mugabe to take us back a 100 centuries, what with the awareness and causes on Rape being propagated daily.
