The world woke up to the news of the demise of the Ninth president of Israel and man referred to as one of the founders of modern day Israel.
Peres was an inspirational leader and elder statesman who was respected all over the world.He ruled Israel between 2007 to 2014.He was known for his wonderful quotes many of which are very relevant. A favorite of mine is;

The world mourns with Israel as they bade the iconic leader farewell.
