The Presiding Judge, Justice Agwu Kalu held that the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that the gunshots fired at one Cpl. Clement Amechi, at close range by Muhammed killed the deceased.
DailyPost Metro reported that the court held that the accused deserved no sympathy and ordered that he should be hung on the neck until he dies.
It was gathered that Muhammed showed no sign of remorse after the death sentence was passed on him. He also refused to be handcuffed before he was taken away by the prison warders that brought him to court.
