Senator Gbenga Ashafa representing Lagos East Senatorial District has revealed that House of Representative Speaker,Aminu Tambuwal's last minute intention to join his party All People's Congress' Presidential race would not divide the party.
At an empowerwerment program he attend recently in Lagos,the Senator said the APC is ready to wrestle power from the ruling People's Democratic Party come 2015.He believes Tanbuwal joining the race for the party's ticket is a plus for the APC.
Consequently,Tambuwal makes the number of candidates vying for the party's tickets five,as he joins,General Muhamed Buhari,Sam Nda-Isaih, former Vice President Atiku Abubaker and Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwakwanso in a battle to clinch the leading opposition party's Presidential ticket.
