An Islamic cleric popularly known as Alfa Cisse in Abule Ojo in Obafemi Owode local Government of Ogun State has been arrested by the police.
The Imam allegedly forcefully had carnal knowledge of a 22 year old lady under the pretense of preparing a charm for her.
The young victim named Elizabeth,narrated her ordeals to the Police,claiming that on the 28th of December 2014,on her way home from work,the Alfa stopped her and said he wanted to prophesy unto her life as he saw a visoin about her which he could not reveal unless she goes home with him.
Subsequently,Elizabeth followed the Imam,in a rather dazed state,as she claims she was not aware of what she was doing.The 'man of God'then had sex with her,then afterwards,shaved some strands of hair from her head,armpit and pubic area.She was told to come back the following day so as to collect the charm.
It was until her sister chastised her that she didn't sleep a home the night before that Elizabeth came to her senses.Her Uncle Mr Oluwaseun Idowu however revealed to Punch Newspaper that Elizabeth's health has continued to deteriorate since she had the encounter with the cleric and a lot of money has been spent to get her well,
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the incidence and said the man would be charged to court soon.
