Seriously, yours truly is in awe of the progress modern medicine has made over the years. God is really working his miracles through intellectuals in that field. He uses them to save mankind each and every day.
Accordingly, you cannot believe in Science and ignore religion try as we may, we cannot separate the two really, though it has always been one controversial topic. The battle of supremacy between religion and sciences is gradually becoming a thing of the past. Both can complement each other.
For this reason, we are very glad that there is respite for the carriers of the sickle cell gene. The medical breakthrough though not new and quite expensive, offers a good measure of hope. Like the poster above who got her own miracle, things can only get better and better.
