A MUSEUM FOR BOKO HARAM?

Took time to read and absorb this article, because headlines can be tricky.
Lo and behold, the content is even more disturbing. When some post World War 1 writers decided to adopt the Theater of the absurd dramatic genre, a rather complex genre made popular by Samuel Beckett with his play titled, Waiting for Godot, they must have thought nothing could trump the absurdist nature of the fiction they wrote back then.. Alas, they never had Nigeria in Mind. Our country seems to be the main Theater of the absurd..

According to the Borno State Government, they are turning the home of the late Boko Haram founder Mohammed Yusuf into a  Museum and it will become a tourist attraction which will generate money for the state. All things Boko haram will be archived, everything related to the insurgency will be preserved for futuristic purposes..etc.

What a noble idea! We just love the fact that of all things important that could be touched on financially in the state, turning Yusuf's house into a museum is of utmost importance.

Who knew we could glorify terrorism this way? We hail the policy and decision makers of the State, they are on course.
