These days it is not uncommon for we ladies to have a makeover before attending a wedding. This is the new trend. Gone are the days ladies just apply their own foundation and powders and you are good to go. Nowadays if you want to 'turnup' everything must be on 'fleek' lol..
The amount of money make up artists make on weekends makes me go green with envy, as a matter of fact I might consider learning the art of professional make overs myself just to partake in the largesse that comes with it. The business is very lucrative indeed and has created jobs for so many unemployed graduates, so the hustle is legitimate and I applaud the Make up Artists.
Now I just believe ladies do not know when to draw the line. Some make up you see on the faces of wedding guests makes you mistake them for the actual bride sometimes. The type of mae up usually worn by ladies actually competes with that of the bride as it is usually close to a bridal make up and this is just to attend another person's wedding.
However like the saying goes, different strokes for different folks. Everyone one likes to look good and if a gorgeous make up is what will make you satisfied please go ahead and be you. Let us just have it at the back of our minds that moderation is important in everything we do. Look at your pockets very well before you dole out cash as high asN10,000 or N20000,just to make up for a wedding you will only enjoy for some few hours. That is after buying Asoebi,new shoes ,purse and other accessories to match.It is good to splurge on yourself but please be moderate.
