The Turkish Government took this measure of blocking social networking site twitter in order to stop people from posting the gory images of the bombing in Suruc.
Images showing the explosion were outlawed by the authorities. Also twitter was blocked to prevent activists from using the images as to call for protests over the Government's inability to prevent the attack.
More than 30 people were killed in the blast, with over 100 injured during the terrorist attack.
