We have been fascinated with his profile since his days as the CEO of First Bank Nigeria, being the first Northerner to hold that position, till he served as the Governor of Central Bank Nigeria. Of enviable pedigree, his views has always been somewhat controversial, hence we tend not to always agree with his position on certain issues.
Nevertheless, the Suave King is our Man Crush today, for being so outspoken lately against major ills in the Northern society even in the face of opposition. His views on the high rate of polygamy, especially amongst the poor, his stand against child marriage and of course his recent opposing views to a fellow Northern Leader/Governor against Meningitis being an act of God has further endeared him to us.
