Vocabulary for the day is one of our regular daily post on the blog since inception.
It is a post we dedicate to dissect one word or words per day. Some are vocabularies we use in our everyday sentences. While others are uncommon words we just feel the need to share their meanings and usage with our readers.

Meaning: It simply means trying to get the attention or approval of a high ranking person or an important personality, by praising them or giving them attention. It also means, a show of affection.
E.g: The other day, Jessica fawned all over Wizkid when she met him at the birthday party we both attended.
Lana fawns over her little sister. Etc
