Audu Maikori the chocolate city boss was yesterday whisked away by the members of the Nigerian police force allegedly under the instructions of Kaduna State Governor,Nasir El Rufai.
It will be recalled that two weeks ago,Maikori who has been campaigning against the recent killings of his people at Southern Kaduna issued an apology when he erroneously implied that students were butchered at a tertiary Institution in the State.
So it came as a surprise all over social media yesterday evening when news filtered in that the Record Label boss had been arrested.There is a huge support coming from all and sundry with the Free Audu hashtag,as it is widely believed he is being victimized for speaking out against the massacre of Christians in Southern Kaduna.The grouse people have is that not one single herdsmen have been arrested and here we are persecuting a lone voice condemning the killings.
