Sometimes you understand it, other times you don't. As a personal mantra, subtlety, sticking to what suits me and playing it safe are my watchword. That being said, some like to be edgy, they like to play against the norm and why not? Edginess brings all the fun to fashion. Also, what would fashion critiques do if we all stick to the rule?
Consequently, those well versed in the art of fashion and different school of thoughts have opined and analyzed this seemingly outrageous dress worn to the annual Met Gala by Riri. They all seemed to have reached an unanimous conclusion or decision to name her the best dressed at the event.
It would be recalled that this would not be the first time the 'Umbrella' singer would leave mouths agape at Met Galas over the years, she is one of the stars that follow the Gala's themes to the letter.
For this year, the theme is said to be Comme Des Garcons-Art of the in-between. Dare i say she is really in between, between what appeals to our sense of moderation and what we see to be over the top. Either ways, Miss Fenton sure knows how to make heads do a 360 when she is on the red carpet.
