A HUMAN TRAFFICKING MENACE AND TRAGEDY

This is a very heart wrenching story uncovered by the BBC.
Twenty six Nigerian girls between the ages 14-18 who were obviously being trafficked to Europe for prostitution dies on the Mediterranean Sea.

Where is the outrage, where is the Government response to this tragedy? The Government clearly failed these young girls. They are victims of the society in which they found themselves. What is being done to curb the menace of human  trafficking in Nigeria? It beggars belief that there are so many people profiting from this ungodly trade.

Unfortunately for most of these girls and their families, their relatives might be unaware of their demise for a very long time to come as they join the thousands of others who have been lost on the sea.
