CHRONICLES OF MILE 12

Chronicles of Mile 12.

Arguably the biggest fresh food/grocery market in Lagos.

The pushing, the shoving, the haggling, the persuasiveness by traders, the array of fresh and organic food items, fruits, vegetables and different farm produce.
The smoke emanating from trailers used in  stocking farm produce from the north and other parts of the country.
Agile men offloading giant sized sacks of farm produce from trailers
Cart/Wheel barrow owners and alabarus begging to carry your different  buys for a fee
The human traffic.
The people cursing under their breath
The madness
The boisterousness.
Whatever you do, make sure you protect your feet with boots when at mile 12.
Yours truly defied the boots, it will take different sessions of pedicure for the feet to recover from the messy and muddy floors that makes Mile 12 what it is.
