The ruling Party APC has denied promising free meals to Nigerian Children during the campaigns leading to the March 28, 2015 general elections.
Of course this outright denial didn't go down well with well-meaning Nigerians who felt they are being shortchanged so soon into the new administration. Billboards spelling out the free meals for Children in Primary schools were scattered all over the country. So it came as a shock to the citizens when the APC spokesman Alhaji Lai Mohammed issued a statement denying this promise.
In his words, he said 'Anyone can produce a Billboard and display, we know nothing about it'.
His words have been met with a lot of criticisms in what seems like a daylight robbery.
