LASSA FEVER HITS LAGOS

To say the way the Government is going about the Lassa Fever spread is not impressive,would be an understatement.
News filtered in this morning that the disease has emerged in Lagos,thus affecting a 25 year old undergradute who is now on admission at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.It has already killed over thirty one persons in the country.The way and manner Ebola was curbed in Nigeria is what we expected,but rather,the Government seems to be focused on other things.Health should be priority if you ask me.

Let us however put measures in place to combat this.By following the simple rules of hygiene,putting out food stuff where rats cannot reach and for those that can,they can keep rats also.To scare away the rats which are the major cause and carriers of the Lassa Virus.
