Absolutely nothing justifies the battering of any woman, much less your wife. Sadly in a new development, this case, involving star actress Mercy Aigbe at the center of the debacle.
She is the victim of yet another domestic violence situation. We condemn the action and reitrate that not even if a man meets ten men atop the woman, there are more ways of handling such situations other than laying hands on the woman. This time, Mr Gentry is allegedly saying his wife Mercy has been Promiscuous, still, it is no excuse for this beastly action.
If a man cannot stand his wife's shenanigans anymore, he should seek a peaceful dissolution in the courts or a temporary separation.
So, at this point what Mercy did or didn't do is not the focus here, not even if she has 'jezebelic' tendencies, her husband has proved he lacks control, to have pummeled his own wife to this extent speaks volumes.
It is high time Nigerian men knew domestic violence is no longer 'fashionable' and there are consequences for such acts.
