TODAY IS WORLD MALARIA DAY


As the word recognizes today as the World Malaria Day, more awareness needs to go round about how Malaria is a major deadly disease.


It kills over a million people yearly in the world. Mostly people in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is a scourge that kills young children under the age of five in their numbers.

Pregnant women are also highly susceptible to Malaria and according to the World Health Organization, It affects nearly half of the World's population.

There is a need to eradicate this disease, for the safety of mankind. The people aslo needs to do their part by ensuring the proper usage of Insecticides, treated mosquito nets and a cleaner environment.
