DO NOT FEEL ENTITLED

If I am availed the opportunity of preaching on a pulpit, one message will always top the list of what i preach against. It is the issue of entitlement. Come to think of it, this page is my own pulpit, so i might as well sensitize people about it.

Do you know  most Nigerian men feel so entitled to women's bodies and it is the reason why sexual abuse cases are on the increase? They believe it is their right to touch a woman which ever way they deem fit.

A trip to the Yaba and Lagos island markets respectively lends credence to this, but I digress. I have written so much on entitlement on this page in the past but it is never enough.

This is because we tend to make enemies out of people unnecessarily in this clime. We feel we are owed something.

The sad truth is that no one actually owes us anything. Nowadays people know how to 'package' themselves so well that you cannot really tell what the next person is going through.

So before you judge anyone, know that you are not privy to their account balances, oh and entitlement does not end at finiacials, it covers a wide range of human activities. Let us be sensitive towards others.
