PEOPLE EXPRESS THEIR ANGER OVER THE PRESIDENCY'S SEEMING LACK OF EMPATHY OVER DAMATURU BOMBING

The picture above was taken yesterday in Aso Rock, Nigeria's seat of Power. You may wonder why an ordinary and even innocent picture like this will cause so much angst among Nigerians. Well they are claiming the Leadership Is being insensitive to the plight of families whose loved ones were bombed to death in the explosion that rocked Damaturu yesterday morning,owing to the fact that this picture was taken around mid day yesterday. The picture shows the President having a good laugh with the Vice President ,Senate President and two other officials.

On social Media, especially Twitter, many people claimed this is the same way the Jonathan regime went about their activities whenever there was a bombing as if nothing went wrong. Nigerians are claiming they do not want  a repetition or  a rehash of the last administration, especially as this Government has promised Change.

It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan, went on a campaign after a deadly attack in Kano and their was a huge backlash for that action especially by the then opposition APC.
