NEMESIS AND EVANS THE KIDNAP KINGPIN

Chinua Achebe said, a Proverb is the Palm Oil with which words are eaten.

The Yorubas have a Proverb that indicts the nose, it says that the nose is a wicked part of the body, it can smell the most delicious foods, scents and odours, but will never perceive evil people. Aren't they right?

Most Magodo residents, especially those that share the same street with Evans the  notorious King of the Underworld, see him almost everyday, they drive past or even stroll through the front of his palatial mansion, without an inkling that he is one that leaves sorrow in his wake. They know not that therein in that house lies a cache of weapons, similar to ones used to fight the Sarajevo War. His children we are sure, attends the best private schools out of proceeds of the heinous crime perpetuated by their father.

Like all Nigerians, we are glad that nemesis has caught up with him.  Kidnappings for ransom has since become endemic in our nation. The masterminds of such acts needs to be curbed and taught lessons that would serve as deterrents to others.
Although we must note that until we stop celebrating Ill gotten wealth or being focused on wealth generally in Nigeria, there will be many Evans lurking around, because they know people do worship wealth in this part of the world no matter how it came about. #lawenforcement #kudos #stingoperation #protection #mayGodprotectus #kidnap #kidnapking #nigeria #crimestory #writings #inmyownwords #bibiirechicmusings #bibiiresblog #blogs #blogging #igblogs
