The awesomeness that this picture is..We can't help but thank God on behalf of this little Angel. While we also doff our hats to the wonders of Science, especially the field of Medicine.
Imagine if the surgery to close the cleft was not possible. Imagine if research didnt go into this? She and others born this way would have had to live with the deformity for the rest of their days. Having to deal with unnecessary stares and probably low self esteem.
Now, unless she's shown pictures of how she was actually born when she comes of age, she would actually find it hard to believe she's the one in the 'before' pictures. We are delighted for her.
