Travel/traveling is one of the best forms of education anyone can have.
One gets to experience different cultures and see the world from different perspectives.
It is also one of the greatest forms of leisure. What trumps lodging at the best hotels, sampling different cuisine and visiting exotic locations? It can be said to be very fulfilling.
Now, the only impediment for most of us who loves or would have loved to travel is that it doesn't come cheap! The good thing on the other hand however, is that one can still plan to travel and be economical about it, by starting with locations within reach.
We have been regaled with tales of how beautiful some of our neighbouring African countries are.
One just needs to visit those countries in order to experience the surreal nature of these places being mentioned.
Sao Tome and Princepe readily comes to mind, it is said to be a bit close to Nigeria, just like Togo. Methinks it would make for a lovely location for adventure.
