Behold, Singapore's first female president, Halimah Yacob.
The 62 years old Ms Yacob emerged as the new President unopposed. She has served as the Asian country's Speaker of Parliament for three years before vying for the Presidency.
A position which automatically put her at an advantage as the only qualified candidate to run. She resumes her duty as President come Thursday the 14th if September 2017, as the Eight President of Singapore
Yet another woman breaks the glass ceiling and we are more than inspired and charged up to do more from where we are.
