As we all know, today is the Local Government elections in the State.
Are you coming out to vote? Prompted to ask because, everywhere seem kind of deserted. No thanks to the fear of violence that might be unleashed by the numerous miscreants some of these politicians have 'employed' to oppress their opponents.
We all saw pictures from the fracas that ensued at Odi Olowo the other day over this same election. Broken heads, torn cloths, pockets of violence generally, results in the people's morale being broken to come out enmass.
All these described above has characterized the election processes in this country overtime, that one begins to wonder when we would get it right. If you are up to it, kindly go out and exercise your rights and vote for your preferred candidate.
