MOTHERS, IS THIS RIGHT?

Call this the height of insensitivity and you wouldn't be farther from the truth. While it cannot be ascertained whether this story is true or not,  the truth is that situations like this occur. It might not result into death, but cases of intense headaches in young girls  abound, due to their hairdo and growing up, one  dreaded some hair stylists too owing to how they handle the hair/scalp.

As parents, we all want the best for our children. We especially want to beautify our baby girls and want them to look trendy. In doing so, some mothers do cross the line. Certain hairstyles are definitely not meant for children, they should be off limits. Children should be allowed to grow at their own pace. They have the whole of their adult lives to be fashionstas.

Tight braids, weaves etc should be off limits for young girls. What happened to simple styles, like corn rows, pony tails and packing the hair in  cute buns.

Here is hoping parents desist from turning their daughters into mannequins or beauty queens at an age when they cannot voice  differing opinions. In the process, the children are caused unnecessary pain and anguish.
