The news that this beautiful South African Lady Karabo, murdered by her boyfriend who also burnt her body is not only appalling but it is also depressing.
He was also said to have joined the search party when she went missing. It is a cause of concern to think a lover can think up such evil thoughts and act on it. He must have harboured a deep resentment towards her.
This news has jolted most women and of course sane and responsible men out of their reverie. It begs the question, When did humanity get here?
What is happening these day, is it that the devil is working overtime? Why have men and in some cases women let their anger get the better of them.
No single day passes without the media reporting one news or the other on domestic violence being perpetuated.
The use of weapons is so commonplace now. At the slightest provocation, women are being battered like it is running out of fashion.
What can be done to salvage this situation? Can men learn to walk away? Why hit another human being?
Women, the signs are always there, it is easy to spot psychotic people...Do not gamble with your life, talk to people. We must break this culture of silence. #saynotodomesticviolence
