While Nigerians are still smarting from the tragedy of the container accident that claimed three lives in Ojeulegba,Lagos just three days ago. Another Container has fallen on the highway today along Ikorodu-Sagamu Highway today. Thankfully no lives were lost.
For how long will these sort of freak accidents continue to throw families into mourning? Why can't the drivers hook the containers to the articulated vehicles properly? Why do they speed like their lives depend on it? So many questions running through my mind. The truth however is, Government has to step up to the plate and put up punitive measures against the companies and the drivers involved.
People cannot continue to die like chickens because of other people's recklessness, enough is enough. Imagine the disaster that could have occurred if people died? Thank God for his mercy.
