For Parents with pupils in Primary and Secondary Schools In Kaduna, Good times are here, as the very active Governor Nasir El-Rufai has declared free Education for these categories in the state.
The Governor has been up and doing from his first day in the exalted position of Governing Kaduna. So this new giant stride of his didn't really come as a surprise. Our hope is that his counterparts will emulate his good works and follow suit.
This is the kind of development we need in Nigeria. We want leaders who are selfless and are able to meet the basic needs of the people that voted them in. Government should be about service, it is a task you should willingly give your all to and not see it as an avenue to siphon funds like most Nigerian leaders are wont to.
This is a step in the right direction, all the way from Kaduna State, and we look forward to more developmental news from that end.
